Here is the list of vendors who will be participating at the North American Interoperability Workshop 2009 in Boca Raton, FL next week:

ARC Informatique, ascolab, Canary Labs, Cyberlogic, ICONICS, ILS Technology, Inductive Automation, InduSoft LLC, MatrikonOPC, Mobiform Software, MSIndustrie Software, OSIsoft,  Siemens, Softing, Software Toolbox, Unified Automation, Wonderware.

These vendors will be making sure that their OPC products work together, and validating interoperability for all required and optional interfaces and functions. The interoperability test process requires that OPC vendors run a series of standard tests for each combination of an OPC Client and an OPC Server product. The results of these tests are collected and displayed in the product catalogue. In Addition OPC Client Products can be tested against the OPC Analyzer Tool in a test monitored by the OPC Foundation.   Attending the Interoperability workshops is an important piece of the Certification process for Clients and Servers. It is required to achieve the “Self Tested” level of certification, and similar interoperability tests are part of the independent “Compliance Certification”.  Vendors who are committed to reliable OPC products will strive for this highest Gold level of compliance.

Another important feature of this year’s IOP workshops is the ability to test interoperability among OPC UA products. Many of participants are bringing OPC UA products to the IOP, in addition to their classic OPC products. OPC UA is more than Ready to Go, it’s already on the move J

If your OPC vendor has not attended an Interoperability workshop lately, you might want to ask them why their not signed up for this one already.
